Who is B.Denise Diaz?
"I was created to create."
My name is Brenda Diaz, though I prefer to go by my middle name, Denise, hence the B.Denise Diaz. I am a graphic designer who wants to bring alternative design back into the world of design.

I do not design just to please the eye. Design has always been a voice, and it is our duty as a designers to use our voices. I, as a graphic designer, use my designs to show an alternative look to the world of graphic design and when chance given raise awareness about our political climate. Design doesn't have to be organized, minimal, nor simplified. Design can be messy, raw, and discomforting.

Since I can remember, I've always stuck out like a sore thumb. I've always noticed things others don't, think about things people don't usually think about. Instead of shrinking away, I've come to embraced the black sheep label, and it is that that has helped me find my footing in graphic design. Hence, I am more than flexible and eager to experiment with new things.
